Carved stone post by the UC road, in parish of WENDLEBURY (CHERWELL District), South end of village 30m East of sharp bend, by village Hall, in well-kept grass in grounds of village hall. Erected by the Bicester, Aynho & Finmere turnpike trust in the 18th century. Now relocated and repainted slightly nearer to the road. Inscription once read:- : (To / Bicester / 3 Miles / To Oxford / 10 Miles) : Milestone Society National ID: OX_OXBC10.
