Holding sidings in MOD Bicester
Wagons are brought into the holding sidings by main line locomotives. They are then taken onto the military railway by the MOD locomotive.

The line to Bicester Town
The line currently runs between Oxford North Junction and Claydon Junction. Work is starting soon to twin line the track and connect to the Chiltern line into Marylebone.

Bicester STW
The elevated hide on the nature reserve outside the sewage works is all nicely set up to give a view over the wetland areas behind me in this picture.
But if you look out the back door of the hut this is what you see.
Never spurn a good vantage point.

Bird Watching Hide near Bicester STW
Thames Water and Banbury Ornithological Society have created a wetland reserve on redundant Thames Water land around Bicester Sewage Treatment Works.
This hide overlooks an area of reed bed with a lagoon to the left and a shallow lake to the right.
