Kingsbury Manor in Roe Green Park
Now a school, this was where John Logie Baird worked in the 1920s and explains why a local road is called Baird Close. He also worked in Muswell Hill near the first transmitter at Alexandra Palace, and has a pub named after him in Fortis Green Road http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roe_Green_Park
