New flats on Cool Oak Lane, West Hendon
Replacing the Old Welsh Harp pub a few years ago, the block was completed, then scaffolding went up and started stripping the cladding off. No one seems to know the story but presumably they were discovered to have used the inflammable stuff and had to take it all off and start again, if so it was very lucky it happened before it was sold to unwitting victims.

This was finished a few years ago and never occupied, now they have stripped all the bricks off. I have no idea why. The Old Welsh Harp pub was here previously and is not missed at all by me.

The ex-Old Welsh Harp pub on Cool Oak Lane
The final incarnation was the Raw Indian Restaurant, but in my opinion it was a hideous building, and the initial block of flats planned which was posted on this fence would have been a lot nicer. No one knows what will be put in its place so far.
