The former Roman Road of Watling Street and the current A5 West Hendon Broadway just clip across the south western corner of this grid square, and the 188000 Northing runs straight through the near corner of Trianon House here. The stone plaque set in the bay between the first and second floors reads

Block of flats on Perryfield Way, West Hendon
The land was cleared after the war when the Victorian terraces behind West Hendon Broadway were bombed, and these all went up in the late 1960s.

Derelict building on West Hendon Broadway
The redevelopment can be seen opposite but hasn't reached this side of the road. Oddly only the corner shop has been fenced, the remainder are still open as normal.
