Watford Way, Hendon
At the end on the left is Hendon Central tube station, next door the tall building was the Hendon Classic cinema, now a Virgin Active gym. Every cinema in the area (three around Golders Green and two in Hendon just in my own time) has closed and have all been replaced by the single unit at Staples Corner.

Early Evening on Watford Way
One of London's main arteries to the northwesstern suburbs, the A41 has its usual long tailback on the hill through Hendon Central. This is caused by the traffic lights at the junction with the A504, which carries quite a volume of cross town traffic.
Both sides of the road are lined with shops, above which are houses.
