Lyndhurst Hall - the home of Air Recording Studios
Designed by Alfred Waterhouse as a Congregational Church, dating from 1883-4, the building is Grade II Listed http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/Details/Default.aspx?id=478784&mode=adv. Waterhouse's most notable buildings are the Natural History Museum and Manchester Town Hall. Since 1991 the building has been the home of the famous Air Recording Studios founded by Sir George Martin. Different sounds...
Former Congregational church in Lyndhurst Road (built 1884 as an irregular hexagon of deep red brick with majolica dressings in Romanesque style, seating 1,500, by Alfred Waterhouse who also designed the Natural History Museum) is now Air Studios run by Sir George Martin, the Beatles' recording manager.

Pax Lodge 12 Lyndhurst Road Hampstead London
World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts. The ground breaking ceremony for Pax Lodge was held on 8 November 1988. The following year on 6 May, The Honourable Mrs. Betty Clay, daughter of Lord and Lady Baden-Powell, unveiled the foundation stone – on the fiftieth anniversary of Our Ark and 100 years after the birth of the World Chief Guide. The building took around 18 months to build, but by July 1990, staff were ready to move into Pax Lodge. The new Centre could accommodate 59 people and had a large dining room, kitchen, lobby lounge, library, resource centre, shop, TV room, guest kitchen, and a staff/resident wing.

The Church of St Stephen on Rosslyn Hill was built between 1869 and 1873 to the designs of architect Samuel Sanders Teulon.
