Former Congregational church in Lyndhurst Road (built 1884 as an irregular hexagon of deep red brick with majolica dressings in Romanesque style, seating 1,500, by Alfred Waterhouse who also designed the Natural History Museum) is now Air Studios run by Sir George Martin, the Beatles' recording manager.
