Taken at 13:00 on Christmas day. There was light traffic in the area and The Tavern on the crest of the hill was quite busy. The bus shelter has a suitably festive McDonald's advert.

A Few Changes at The Tavern
Last Geographed by Mike Quinn back in 2011 when it was a pleasant looking traditional pub Image what used to be The Tavern is now in the pizza business with a colour scheme to match the food.
I wonder what happened to the pub sign in Mike's other pictures here.
