Hocroft Road, Child's Hill
Farm Avenue does a sharp turn to become Hocroft Road with substantial houses typical of the area. This is part of the Hocroft Estate built in the inter-war years. The area has a very well-maintained appearance.

Green Grass on the Cricket Pitch
There are two separate sports fields on this bit of land, complete with large pavilions. A public footpath runs between them.
This is the eastern one. The title here refers to the picture I took a few seconds ago facing in the other direction. Image
