Prayle Grove
An interesting style of semi-detached housing along this street with traditional brick built houses intermixed with prefab designs. The prefab houses were built to a Canadian design and initially had functioning fireplaces and oil radiators. Between 1979-1983 these were replaced by gas central heating. Information regarding the prefabs from Tim Woods.

Golders Green: A41 Hendon Way electricity sub-station
The days are long gone since the time when utility companies could afford to adorn their buildings with clock towers and cupolas. So this building, on the east side of the A41 Hendon Way, stands testament to those days. I have called it a sub-station as it has the words "Electricity Supply" on the grey-green plate beneath the first floor windows, but I would welcome any refinement or further information about the building.

Subway on Hendon Way, Brent
The area Brent is here, in the borough of Barnet but on the same river as the borough of Brent. I hope that makes sense.
