Checking the Timetable
Prospective passengers check the time of the next 266 bus to Hammersmith as they wait at the stop on Tilling Road beside Brent South Shopping Park. The 112 bus for Ealing Broadway is just pulling in. Operated by Travel London, it's finished in a rather dayglo version of Transport for London red!

M1 Motorway: Junction 1 & A406 North Circular Road
This is the southern end of the northbound carriageway of the motorway seen at its junction with the A406 North Circular Road. The main through route of the North Circular Road is on the flyover to the right. This part of the motorway was not part of the original route and was only built in the 1970s.

Entrance sliproad to the M1 motorway at junction 1, Staples Corner.London
When opened in 1959, the M1 extended from Watford to junction 18 (Crick/Rugby). In view is part of the final section of the M1, opened in 1977, at junction 1 at Staples Corner, where the motorway meets the North Circular Road (A406).
