Clitterhouse Farm House
There are records of a farm on this site in 1321, though this farm house clearly doesn't date back that far. Clitter apparently means Clay and may be a reference to the type of soil in the area. Clitterhouse Farm
These are some of the remaining farm buildings. In its later days this was a dairy farm and I would guess that the building on the left was a milking shed. There is a courtyard area behind these buildings.
