Northeast on Ivor Place from Boston Place
In view: a fine mature Cordyline australis (so-called Cabbage Palm). Sub-tropical plants thrive in London's microclimate. The road junction, right, is with Balcombe Street, a street of larger houses for the well-off. The surrounding streets such as Boston Place and Ivor Place, with two-storey houses, were for servants, horses and tradespeople.

Boston Place, Marylebone, NW1
A little street that runs along the east side of Marylebone station.
Perhaps named after Boston, Massachusetts - but I'd much rather think it was named after that city's namesake, in Lincolnshire (all too often overlooked).
