Shops on Finchley Road, Temple Fortune

Finchley Road in 1987
Besides the usage of some of the shops the view has not changed at all. The shop on the right corner was Brentford Nylons, although I can't see if it was still there in this picture. The Royal Oak pub opposite closed in the late 2000s and is now a shop. It is one of the only remaining Victorian buildings in the area, the rest in that parade having been demolished. A couple of terraces remain from the total just behind it in Hendon Park Row.
