Turning circle at road end at Brynygwenin
Brynygwenin is a small linear village close to Abergavenny. There's one road in which ends at the unremarkable turning circle in the image. What is remarkable however is the signage at the tarmacked road end; having been limited to 30 mph through the settlement one can apparently travel at 60 mph along the steeply descending grassy way!

End of tarmac road, Brynygwenin
The road becomes a steep grassy track, part of the Beacons Way. The signs seem superfluous!

Gardens at Brynygwenin
This boat is a long way from the sea or any other large body of water. The River Usk might be fun to drift downstream on but I doubt if its ever been down there. The canal? Who knows. Nice to see yet another old railway wagon shed too.

Part of a fairway at Wernddu Golf Course near Abergavenny
A footpath crosses the fairway here and offers views up to the Deri and the Sugar Loaf, which looks particularly elegant from this angle.
