Boarded-up Up & Under, Pontypool
A former pub on Park Road, next door to a Salvation Army Citadel. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1853971
All the downstairs windows of the closed pub are boarded up, except for one, which has been bricked up. Curiously, the image of the pub on Google Earth, taken some time before this one, shows the pub boarded-up, but painted white...

Pontypool County Court
Set back from the west side of Riverside, behind Jobcentre Plus.http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2392888 This court is open for hearings only. Enquiries and documentation are dealt with by Blackwood Civil and Family Court.
County Courts are for processing civil (as opposed to criminal) cases. They are presided over by a judge, normally without a jury.
