C J Hole and Martin & Co, Bridge Street, Newport
Two names are on the office at 25 Bridge Street in early May 2016: C J Hole and Martin & Co.
The South Wales Argus reported the previous month that the name CJ Hole is well-known in the West Country and the South West of England but the brand is a new arrival on the Newport property scene. The new CJ Hole office is a sister business to Martin & Co lettings business. The owners of Martin & Co Newport have brought the CJ Hole brand to Newport to increase their share in the sales market, as it is well-known as a sales specialist.

Hotlets premises are at 26 Railway Street, Newport, adjacent to Queensway and opposite the railway station. Hotlets offer services to both landlords letting, and tenants looking for, property.

Walter Hunter, 24 Bridge Street, Newport
This building at 24 Bridge Street, at the corner of Caxton Place, is the office of Walter Hunter & Co Limited, Accountants. The firm was founded in 1889, but not at this location.
In 1898, Newport Technical School's new premises opened here. I haven't yet discovered when the building was vacated by the School. One of several possibilities is 1910, when a new college building http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1425905 opened in Clarence Place.
