Comet distribution centre near Chepstow
This view of Comet's Severn Link Distribution Centre in Newhouse Farm Industrial Estate was taken in mid November 2012. Comet had entered administration a fortnight earlier. All its premises had closed down by the middle of December 2012.

Tunnel under the M48 motorway near Chepstow
This is the northern side of the 70 metre long tunnel at the southern end of Caerwent Lane. A footpath and cycleway pass under the M48 motorway. A sign on the motorway, at the approach to the contiguous Wye Bridge and Severn Bridge, shows For 2½ miles No repairs in emergency use telephone.

Footpath and cycle track to the M48 bridge
This leafy lane looks quiet enough, but if the picture had a soundtrack you would realise that you are a matter of metres from the M48. This path is the approach to the south side walkway across the Wye and Severn bridges.
