Former St Botolph's Primary School
Shortly after its closure and relocation to a modern school further west, the school was vandalised and set alight, remaining in a semi-derelict condition for a number of years. The temporary accommodation near the front has since been removed and the playground grubbed up, so something new may be happening here very soon.

The main site entrance off Mareham Lane, with the managers' houses lining the driveway and the nearest of the pavilions in the distance. The site was purchased by Bass, Ratcliff & Greeton Ltd in 1901 and the building work was completed 6 years later. All the buildings (and ancillary brickwork including these gate piers) are Grade II-listed.
