The main site entrance off Mareham Lane, with the managers' houses lining the driveway and the nearest of the pavilions in the distance. The site was purchased by Bass, Ratcliff & Greeton Ltd in 1901 and the building work was completed 6 years later. All the buildings (and ancillary brickwork including these gate piers) are Grade II-listed.
