Eaton, Leicestershire
Looking across the pasture on the southern side of Eaton towards the village. The house on the far right is the old farmhouse for Catshill Farm, now divided up between several properties. The next house along is a barn converted about 1995. The next roof is on a house on Elm Lane. On the far left is the last house in the village on Waltham Lane and next door is a large new build in the local stone.

Elm Farm, Eaton
This old farmhouse has been a private home for years. It gives its name to Elm Lane the turning to the left beyond the wall, far right of the photograph. Waltham Lane is a very narrow road, single track most of the way. Careful drivers travel via Branston and the main A607 to get to Waltham.

Elm Lane, Eaton
In the early 1990s, the Post Office and the Borough Council decided that all the houses in the village had to have a number. Previous to that many houses didn't even have a name but were known by the people who lived in them. This lane didn't have a name either but was called after the farm at the beginning of the street, Elm Farm. The cottage to the right is a conversion of one of the farm's barns.
