Oxton Post Office postbox (Ref NG25 35)
Oddly enough, the box is not either adjacent to, or opposite the current post office, although there may well have been a change of premises at some time. A nice example of a lamp box on a truncated telegraph pole, complete with 'roof', unusually sited inside someone's garden.
