Trent Bridge House, Newark, Notts.
An annexe of some offices belonging to Nottinghamshire Women's Institute, situated at the south east end of Trent Bridge. The main house is a Grade II-listed former tollhouse dating from c.1800 which also boasts this single-storey C19th addition. The railings are also Grade II-listed.

Castle Bandstand
Modern bandstand installed in 2000 in the landscaped gardens at Newark Castle by Victorian landscape gardener H.E.Milner, his original designs included a bandstand but it was never built. The gardens officially opened on 24th May 1889, Queen Victoria's 70th birthday. The Gilstrap Library and Ossington Coffee Palace are in the background.

Newark Castle on an icy morning
