Eldon Square Bus Station, Newcastle
Eldon Square bus station is one of 3 bus stations in the city centre serving the city. This station mainly handles local services to the south and west of the city and most of the services using the station are operated by Go North East. The station backs directly onto Eldon Square Shopping centre. The station was opened in 2009 replacing the former bus station which was located under the large shopping centre.

Three Bulls Heads pub
On Percy Street in Newcastle. There has been a pub here since the 18th century. However in the 1980's Eldon Gardens took over this part of Percy Street. The old pub was demolished in 1984 after it was found to be in such poor condition it couldn't be incorporated in the rebuild. A completely new pub was built on the site, keeping the old name.

Percy Street
Bill Henderson's photograph from 2006 shows how the street level appearance has changed over the years. The building on the left was then "Kiddie Kot". Now it is a nail bar. The Percy Arms in the middle has had a makeover whilst Tsang Foods next door has also been spruced up. The street bollards have also been modernised.
