Crouch Hill Covered Reservoir
The grassy field below an expansive sky is actually the roof of the covered reservoir. To the left is a hatchway into the reservoir and in the far distance the tall buildings of Canary Wharf.

Holy Trinity Church, Stroud Green
The building was, in fact, built as the church hall for an adjacent church which was suffered bomb damage in 1944 and finally demolished in 1960. The church hall, built in 1913 to a design by architect J.S. Alder, was dedicated for church use in 1961.

Granville Road/ Mountview Road Crouch End
On this quiet corner on the opposite side of Crouch End from Lynton Road (see my photo
Image]) one finds the second Citroen H van in this area. The one in this photo celebrates the work of Wilhelm Reich and his discovery of a universal energy he named orgone and which had since ancient times been posited as the ether. The Citroen H van stopped production in 1981 and I have never seen one in poor condition.

Mount Pleasant Villas
Seen from The Parkland Walk - previously the GNR's Finsbury Park to Alexandra Palace branch. The large green area to the centre right of the photo is a covered reservoir built some time prior to 1885. The railway line had a signal box near here called 'Reservoir' prior to the opening of Stroud Green station.
