Down Christmas Eve relief express thundering through Harringay West Station
A wintry View southward towards Finsbury Park and King's Cross; ex-Great Northern ECML. The express is the 12.10 relief King's Cross - Newcastle, headed by A3 Pacific No. 60065 'Knight of Thistle'. On the right is the loop line from Harringay Junction on the Tottenham & Hampstead line.

Ex-GN Ivatt 0-6-2T at Harringay
The great majority of these class N1 0-6-2Ts were fitted with condensing gear and worked in the London area, from King's Cross and Hornsey Depots on empty coach trains and on the countless cross-London exchange freight trains. Seen from the station at Harringay ('West' 6/51-5/71), No. 4583 was built 11/1911 as GN No. 1583, became LNER No. 4583 then in 1946 No. 9463 and survived as BR No. 69463 until 3/55. (Strangely, the prominent church behind seems to be no longer there).
