West Finchley Station
This station was added to the line in 1933 to serve new housing developments along Nether Street and the Dollis Valley. The line was owned by the LNER at the time and, as that company was struggling financially, the station was built as cheaply as possible using materials salvaged from other stations that had been closed. The modern cctv cameras and lights clash with the steam era waiting rooms and footbridge.

Finchley Court N3
One of two blocks of apartments at the road entrances to the Finchley Court estate. Whilst the other blocks (visible on the left) have flat roofs, these sport beautiful blue pantiles. The main part of the estate is concealed from Ballards Lane by a tall privet hedge.
