Leopold Road
Overnight snow continues through the morning in Finchley. Leopold Road has not been gritted as Barnet concentrate on keeping the main roads open. One driver is attempting to pull out but the majority appear to have left the car at home today, or possibly not bothered going to work at all.

The Walks
View across Leopold Road. The Walks reputedly form part of an old sheep/pig droving route from Hampstead Heath to Barnet Market, via Finchley's Hog Market. As a child I was told that my great grandmother kept sheep on the heath and used this route.
