The Friday Morning Queue
Almost 9:00am and people are queueing outside the Post Office in East Finchley. In the foreground, flowerbeds populated with perennials and bicycle parking hoops provide some relief to the broad expanse of pavement. Amy's, behind the queue, is about to open and I'm off there next as I need a new kettle!

Scarab on Ice
A Scarab Major road cleansing truck stands on Beresford Road, East Finchley. These vehicles are regularly used by building contractors to clean the highway of the mud from their sites left by passing lorries. It's probably here to clean up where the Gas Alliance work is being carried out in East End Road and the surrounding side roads. The house adjacent is an interesting reconstruction. It's difficult to tell from this view, but it probably includes a number of environmentally friendly ideas.

Parking restriction on East Finchley High Road
Covid brought these barriers across the country, many being used for outdoor catering to avoid infection. These have just removed a motorcycle parking bay.
