Old Style Telephone Pole
Located on Norrice Lea, this pole retains its ceramic terminations for the wires going to the customers houses and the finial at the top. The pole was erected by the GPO not long after 1955, which is its requisition date.

Lyttleton Playing Fields
Snow still lies on the field, although the melt has clearly begun. A council vehicle doing the bin emptying round has left a slalom course of tyre tracks between the trees. The houses in the distance are on Linden Lea. The Spelling of the name of these fields is either as in the title or Lyttelton on some maps.
