New block on Lyttelton Road, Hampstead Garden Suburb
Besides a few bomb sites Hampstead Garden Suburb was planned and otherwise building generally stopped in the 1930s besides some houses built since on individual plots. This is the only new commercial building, replacing the old garage some years ago.

This replaced the original garage which had been there from the start of the suburb here around the 1930s. There are offices downstairs and flats upstairs.

New flats and Heathfielde on Lyttleton Road
Heathfielde is the block on the left built in the 1960s, which used to have the post office on the ground floor which is now in a shop further along the road, while the new block on the right replaced the Heron Garage a few years ago and has offices downstairs and flats above.

New Housing
At the junction of Kingsley Way and Lyttelton Road, a new block rises on the site once occupied by a Texaco garage and a Mercedes Benz dealer. It's late evening and the builders have all gone home for the night.
