New Housing
At the junction of Kingsley Way and Lyttelton Road, a new block rises on the site once occupied by a Texaco garage and a Mercedes Benz dealer. It's late evening and the builders have all gone home for the night.

Lyttelton Road, Hampstead Garden Suburb
From 1969-79 or so I took the 102 from the next stop along to Golders Green Station to either get a train or walk to school. Two other buses shared the route till about the 80s, the 104a from Golders Green to North Finchley, then the 244 from Golders Green to Southgate. The 102 went from Golders Green to Chingford Mount till it was extended from Brent Cross in 1976, when the shopping centre was built. It has since been curtailed to stop in Edmonton.
