Pre-Worboys speed limit Bishops Avenue
I discovered all 12 40mph repeaters along here are pre-Worboys, and 8 were the very rare ones with raised characters like this one.

Affordable Housing Apartments Being Built on Cannons Close
This is one of two apartment blocks crammed onto a tiny plot on the corner of Cannons Close and The Bishops Avenue. So squashed in are they that they appear to have hardly any garden. This is the rear of Eliot House (2015). The apartments have now been completed and three of them are currently (January 2018) for sale for £5.5M, £6.5M and £10M

The Towers, a Glimpse Through an Overgrown Garden
This large disused house stands on a large plot in Bishops Avenue. Many similar houses on this road are also disused as they are owned by speculative investors and are not used as homes. The same sized plot next door has five luxury houses crammed into it so perhaps this house will be demolished and half a dozen smaller but still very expensive houses will be put up in its place

East Finchley : Oak Lodge, Bishop's Avenue
Derelict house, unoccupied for over 30 years. Locally listed. Built in 1927, possibly to a design by John Soutar, architect to the nearby Hampstead Garden Suburb Trust. More on the scandal of the Avenue's empty properties at this https://www.insider.com/inside-london-billionaires-row-property-interactive-2019-11.

The Bishops Avenue
Viewed here at the junction with Byron Drive. The weeping willow looks to be an unusually tall specimen.

The Georgians
One of the many disused luxury houses standing on The Bishop's Avenue, many of which are owned by foreign investors but never lived in. Despite the road having many of the most expensive houses in London a considerable number are like this , very unkempt and dilapidated. It stands on the corner of The Bishops Avenue and White Lodge Road opposite "High Trees". See

Winnington Road
Building sites and houses. A cement lorry causes an obstruction as it delivers a load of cement to a site where a house is being rebuilt. A misty autumn morning brings out the colours of the trees.

High Trees (2015)
This relatively luxurious modern house stood on the corner of The Bishop's Avenue and White Lodge Close. However it was relatively small and plain compared with most of the neighbouring houses which are some of the most expensive houses in Britain. Since this photo was taken this house has been demolished and a much more impressive, larger and more luxurious house has been built on this small plot.
