Fifteen
Operating in this old Hoxton warehouse, Fifteen is a restaurant run by the Jamie Oliver Foundation offering apprentice programmes for young people aged 18-24. In the basement is the flagship dining room, while on the ground floor is a less formal Italian trattoria.

"The Eagle" public house, Shepherdess Walk
Locally listed public house built in 1901 on the site of The Eagle Tavern. More at this http://hackneybuildings.org/items/show/19668. The site is of course associated with the nursery rhyme "Pop Goes the Weasel", and the lines: Up and down the City road, In and out the Eagle.

Work is going ahead apace on this new tower on City Road. Although the recession may have temporarily slowed the rate of progress, the City is rapidly expanding with much new development just across the boundary in the Borough of Hackney.

3-11 Westland Place
Former Victorian/Edwardian factory, the sign reading "John Redman Ltd & British Empire Pipe Co." The Empire could never have prospered without all those pipes, could it? It has been used as a film location and currently houses artists' studios.
