Plumage House in Shepherdess Walk
This apparently disused building was once the premises of Feather Merchants Bestimt & Co. Ltd. Presumably they supplied the upholstery trade but there is no clue as to how long the business existed. The building is 'listed' by the London Borough of Hackney. According to this http://hackneybuildings.org/items/show/19539 they supplied theatres. In an earlier incarnation it was a pub, The Royal Standard.

Hoxton: Linale House, Wenlock Barn Estate, N1
Linale House on the left was the first block of post-war council flats to be opened on the then new Wenlock Barn Estate in 1949. The building is named after the then Mayor of the Metropolitan Borough of Shoreditch, Alderman R G Linale. The road in front is Murray Grove. The Ordnance Survey map of 1882 shows this as Murray Street, and lined on either side with Victorian terraced housing.
