Pymme's Brook in Brunswick Park
Pymme's Brook is named after William Pymme, a local land owner. The brook rises in Hadley Wood and flows in a south-easterly direction to merge with the River Lee Navigation at Tottenham. It is seen here at the southern end of Brunswick Park. The Piccadilly line can just be glimpsed through the trees on the left above the white van where the line crosses Waterfall Road. Much of the route, including here, is followed by the Pymmes Brook Trail. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pymmes_Brook_Trail for more information.

Piccadilly Line bridges
Two plate girder skew bridges over roads and a short length of brick viaduct start the lengthy crossing of the valley of Pymme's Brook, most of which is crossed by a notable brick viaduct off to the left. These date from the early 1930s when the line was extended north of Finsbury Park.
