Former Methodist Church, Stoke Hammond (3)
This photo shows the front and West side of this neat looking church in Newton Road. Its final service took place on Sunday 28th April 2019, and it will probably be sold, either for conversion into a house or redeveloped for other purposes.

Taken from Newton Road, this photo shows the East side of the church with bushes and primroses in the garden. Following the cessation of Sunday services in this church from May 2019, it remains to be seen what will happen to this building.

Former Methodist Church, Stoke Hammond (1)
Situated in Newton Road MK17 9DE, this church opened in October 1927 and was one of eighteen churches in the Vale of Aylesbury Methodist Circuit. Until the end of 2018, Sunday services took place at 11.00am, but it has now closed, the final service having been held at 3.00pm on Sunday 28th April 2019.

The main church in Stoke Hammond, the rectory on adjoining grounds is now in private ownership. There's also a public footpath that cuts through the churchyard on the way to Milton Keynes.

Up WCML parcels train at Stoke Hammond Box
View northward, towards Bletchley, Rugby and the North. No. 44686 is one of post-war variants of the Stanier 5MT 4-6-0 designed by Ivatt with Caprotti valve gear, double-chimney and roller bearings, built 4/51 and withdrawn 10/65. There seem to be two new coaches towards the rear of the train.
