Demelza House Children's Hospice
It is increasingly common to see brand new buildings designed to look like old farm buildings, this one pretends to be an oast and barn.

Southlands Unit, Rook Lane
Tucked away behind the new houses in Rook Close is the Southlands Unit. The unit occupies new buildings, as well as this small "leftover" from the former Keycol Hospital (now demolished).
The Southlands Unit provides a service for carers of those suffering from memory affecting illnesses (such as dementia). The aim of the service is to help alleviate the pressure and burden of care that friends and family members often find themselves laden with when supporting someone affected by such illnesses.

Arbour Cattery, Cold Harbour
Seen from Rook Lane, the area here is called Cold Harbour, though the business at the house is called "Arbour Cattery". Maybe the owners thought "Harbour Cattery" would be misleading...?
