Footpath near Ranscombe Farm, Cuxton
This path eventually crosses the M2 and ends up on a housing estate on the outskirts of Strood (visible in the distance). The woods of Merrals Shaw are on the right.

Ranscombe Farm and footpath junction
Two footpaths meet. The North Down Way (long distance footpath) comes from left, from Lower Bush and then turns down the farm track, towards the viewer. Then goes downhill past a small carpark on A228 Rochester Road.
Other footpath from right comes from Strood across the M2 and CTRL.

The long distance path leads straight on from the farm access road, towards Whiteleaves Wood. A footpath (and Ranscombe Farm trail) heads left towards Cuxton.
