The ancient yew in St Mary's Churchyard, Eastling
St Mary's Church at Eastling was "grossly over-restored" according to John Newman in Pevsner's Buildings of England: North-East and East Kent. He also refers to the "colossally aged yew tree by the west porch". The west doorway is Norman. Both are seen in this photograph.
