Patzbee
This Little Bee located inside the Manchester Craft and Design Centre was created by: St Patrick's RC Primary School St Patrick's RC Primary School have taken inspiration from Timothy Schmalz's sculpture Jesus the Homeless, which was recently erected in Manchester. They wanted to tackle the issue of homelessness in their design, which incorporates the Manchester skyline, words and poems to represent the feelings of someone who is homeless, and bright colours to signify light at the end of the tunnel.

The Burton Arms
The Burton Arms pub has entrances on both Swan Street and Foundry Lane (this view is from Foundry Lane). During the nineteenth century, it was bustling with workers from the former Smithfield Market although at that time the pub was known as "The John O'Groats House Public House".

Mackie Mayor
The former Smithfield meat market of 1857, opened 1858, now run as a food hall and called "Mackie Mayor" from the inscription on this side. On this rear face is erected an outdoor dining area, dating from the pandemic, during which at times only outdoor catering was permitted. The Wheatsheaf
Now called the Wheatsheaf Hotel it stands on the site of the Butchers Arms which is where Joseph Holt is said to have started his brewing career. It was built in the 1880s to serve the nearby Smithfield Fish Market. For many years it was a Tetley's house. Image
