Brownsfield Mill, Great Ancoats Street
Photographed from Vantage Quay Bridge. The Rochdale Canal is in the foreground with bridge No. 91 and lock No. 83 beyond. The mill was built in 1825 as a steam powered cotton spinning mill with timber frame construction and an internal beam engine house.
