Two Trees Lane
In the foreground is Two Trees Lane Detention Tank and Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) belonging to United Utilities. CSOs act as relief valves letting excess storm water be released to rivers or the sea. This helps protect properties from flooding and prevents sewage backing up into streets and homes during heavy rainfall.
