10 Norfolk Street, Manchester
With a tinge of Scottish Baronial perhaps, not that Portland stone was the usual material of choice in Scotland. Two great round machicolated towers with conical roofs, linked by a mighty arcade. By Wolstenholme & Thornely, 1908-10. Grade II listed. Built for the Palatine Bank. I'm not sure what's here now, but probably offices.

The tower of Pall Mall Court
Pall Mall Court is a complex development from 1969 of offices and shops, including this twelve-story tower in brown glass with brown metal framing. It was designed by Brett & Pollen. I found this interesting account on the web: https://manchesterhistory.net/architecture/1960/pallmallcourt.html There is more detail in the Historic England listing "Commercial office building, 1966-8 by Harry Teggin of Brett, Pollen & Teggin in association with A H Brotherton and Partners, and the engineers, Cyril Blumfield and Partners. Reinforced concrete frame with grey-bronze ceramic-mosaic cladding to the service towers, and Staffordshire blue-brickwork and bronze painted-aluminium cladding to the rest of the building with bronze glass. Flat roofs with parapets. 6-storeys and 12-storeys." It is listed grade II. See https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1246934 The building entrance is currently behind site boards. The whole site was sold to a company called Bruntwood Group, who are remodelling the building and that includes changing the ground floor into a hospitality area with space for a food and beverage vendor and outside seating on the piazza outside. We shall see. The site has, in the past, attracted vandalism and some undesirable people.
