The grade II listed building https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1271383 on the corner of Norfolk Street and Sussex Street was built in 1907 by Bradshaw, Gass and Hope as the Northern Stock Exchange. It closed in 2000 and was converted into a restaurant. It was bought by Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs who plan to convert it into a boutique hotel. In the winter of 2015/16 the building was occupied by squatters who received the blessing of the owner. Renovation work is continuing.
