On the corner of Norfolk Street and Sussex Street is the grade II listed building https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1271383 which was built in 1907 by Bradshaw, Gass and Hope as the Northern Stock Exchange. It closed in 2000 and was converted into a restaurant Image It was later bought by Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs who plan to convert it into a boutique hotel. In the winter of 2015/16 the building was occupied by squatters who received the blessing of the owner. Renovation work is now continuing and the bottom end of Norfolk Street is blocked off.
