Offices on Ardwick Green South currently for sale or let. It advertised as being a former bank building but I haven't been able to discover which bank it originally belonged to.

Curious milestone at Ardwick Green Located on Ardwick Green South Image, this Grade II listed https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1207607 milestone appears to read: 11 Miles to Wilmslow 184 Miles to LONDON A mile to ?? The last name is buried into the pavement but actually reads Manchester. It is somewhat curious that it mentions Wilmslow rather than Stockport. However it appears that it has been relocated here from its original position on the A34. Carved stone post by the A6, in parish of MANCHESTER (MANCHESTER District), Ardwick Green, West of junction with A57, on pavement next to railings surrounding green park, on North side of road. Erected by the Wilmslow turnpike trust in the 18th century. Inscription reads:- 11 Miles t(o) Wilmflo(w) 184 Miles to London 1 Mile to (Manchester) Grade II listed. The north side of the war memorial Image at Ardwick Green is inscribed with the name "Flanders" and the inscription "To the glorious memory of members of the 8th Ardwick Battalion Manchester Regiment who gave their lives in the cause of liberty and justice in the Great War 1914-1918. They died that we may live in freedom".
