Field entrance and start of track off Hexton Road, Lilley
Modern maps show a track from here to the bridleway that links Wardswood Lane with the Icknield Way. However it does not appear on the OS map until 1960, when it is captioned 'FP'. It is not a right-of-way now. The slender barrier has been reinforced by a piece of farm machinery (a harrow?).

The Hexton to Lilley road passes in the mid distance a wood. This is marked on OS Explorer 193 as 'Burnwell Spinneys.'
