Modern maps show a track from here to the bridleway that links Wardswood Lane with the Icknield Way. However it does not appear on the OS map until 1960, when it is captioned 'FP'. It is not a right-of-way now. The slender barrier has been reinforced by a piece of farm machinery (a harrow?).
